Waterfall Adventure

We both love Waterfalls, and while Massachusetts doesn’t have a lot of them Wahconah Falls and Bish Balls Falls are two of the best! Wahconah Falls, located in Hinsdale Ma, is a 0.9 mile hike down and back and relatively easy for all ages. Pack a lunch and have a picnic on one of the tables or put down a blanket and stretch out along the grass. My advice would be to either pack light or have a cooler on wheels because it is a bit of a walk to get to the tables. https://www.mass.gov/locations/wahconah-falls-state-park

Our next stop was Bish Bash Falls. The interesting thing about Bish Bash is that there’s an entrance on the Massachusetts side and one on the New York Side. We made the mistake of going in on the New York side and it was a very long and challenging hike down. We when we were leaving we found the Massachusetts entrance that was a much shorter walk! Figures!!! Anyway…we made it down to find people swimming in the water having a great time. We dipped our toes in the water ( it was chilly), sat for a bit to rest, took some pictures and started our long hike back. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/massachusetts/bash-bish-falls-trail

If you’re a Waterfall lover, be sure to add Wahconah and Bish Bash to your list! Absolutely beautiful!!!!

On the way home we were starving and we found The Rapids Bar and Grill located in Huntington, Ma. We had a great table overlooking the Rapids and it was the perfect place to recharge and relax after a fun day of hiking. https://www.therapidsbar.com/
