I didn’t tell Jessica what I had booked but I told her we were going to be doing research for the Blog…. It’s an easy excuse to try something new! LOL 🙂
There are several options for trip packages… group tours, private tours and even options for wedding tours!! I chose the Viaggio di Rapsodia ( $139 for 2 people) It’s a 40 minute trip that includes everything in the Viaggio dei Sogni ( basic package $89) with the addition of a live musician on the tour. I chose the Violin because I knew Jess would enjoy that the most, but you can also have a mandolin, guitar or accordion.
Our Gondolier (Thomasa) gently rowed us along the Providence and Woonasquatucket Rivers past historical landmarks, public parks and under beautiful bridges as we enjoyed the music of our Violinist Christina. It was so calm and relaxing, I could have napped quite easily!!
Thomasa even sang a few Italian arias as we went under the bridges….so beautiful with the bridges providing an acoustical compliment to his voice.
You can bring your own beverages or snacks and they provide delicious handmade Italian wine biscuits. We didn’t bring snacks as we had just had dinner, but the group of people that set out right before us brought a picnic basket and several bottles of wine.

Oh, as a side note…….I didn’t bring any snacks because I had planned on stopping at Somerset Creamery on the way home!! I always have a snack plan!!! 😉
