Pub 6T5

So here we are … the first in what we hope to be many years of sharing food, fun and adventures!

Tonight we wanted to try the new Pub 6t5 the new more upscale version of what has been known for years as the 6th Bristol club. As we walked in I was floored by the change in decor! Gone is the dark and dingy…..the interior has been completely revamped from floor to ceiling! Big screen TV’s can be viewed from every seat in the house (college football tonight) and the bar is bright and inviting. Such a great atmosphere for grabbing a drink and some appetizers with friends, or sitting down and relaxing at a table after a hectic day of holiday shopping.

The menu is your typical pub menu, appetizers, pizza, burgers for the most part with 4 or 5 entree style choices and a few desserts.

We weren’t starving so we skipped the apps for today. Jess had the “Fall Reeeva Pizza”…yes that’s how it was spelled on the menu. It has cheese, linguica and “house made” chips on top. Jess opted to have the chips on the side because she feared they would become soggy sitting on the cheese. She loved the chips! They were hand made, crispy and thick cut with lots of flavor. The pizza was tasty and a large was more than enough for one person with leftovers.

I opted to go with a basic burger which had good flavor and was cooked to perfection. It came on a buttered, grilled bun with a side of crispy rosemary flavored shoe-string fries. YUM!We skipped dessert tonight but we will be back to try some other things on the menu in the future. All in all, the food was tasty and priced well, although I would liked to have seen a few more entree choices on the menu. If you’re in the north end of NB stop by and check it out. You won’t be dissapointed.
