Hiking with Goats
If you’re looking for a fun activity that gives you a bit of a workout then look no further than Simmons Farm (1942 W. Main rd. Middletown RI 02842). The farm is a working Farm and they sell their products right on the property. When you arrive at the farm you will be greeted by Karla and her amazing goat crew. You will choose a goat on a leash ( unless you opt to carry a baby goat) and begin your walk. The walk takes about an hour and half up through the farm with stops along the way to feed the goats, and learn some fun facts about them as well as other farm animals. On a clear day you will also take in gorgeous views of Narragansett Bay from the top of the farm. Our advice…be ready to walk and have a great time!
