Stumpy’s Hatchet House

Do you want to release some frustration and have fun? If your answer is yes, you will want to head to Stumpy’s and throw down. Located at 75 Ferry Street in Fall River Ma, Stumpy’s is a great place for a date night or just a fun night out with friends. This was our first time to Stumpy’s and I can say that it won’t be our last! We had a great time!

When you walk in you just have a feeling that this is a fun place. Maybe seeing the sign that said “Warning, No stupid people” was an indicator. We were greeted at the front desk and were told we would be meeting a staff member that would explain the rules and then take us to our throwing pit.

Our staff member walked us to our throwing pit …..totally adorable. Our area ( The Lizzy Borden area… Jessica was in heaven) had 2 chairs a few stump chairs and a table ( they gave us complimentary pretzels and goldfish for a snack). I mean seriously……free snacks? I’m loving this place!!! Our staff member gave us some pointers on how to throw and had each of us throw once so he could watch us. I will say that they make it look easy but it isn’t!!! We played a game against each other and then we played a team game using Stumpy’s point system which is shown in each throwing pit.

Stumpy’s would be great for a birthday or bachelor/bachelorette party! They have 8 throwing pits, giant Jenga, a Foosball table, a snack bar with beverages and plenty of places to sit. Please note that Stumpy’s is 21 and over only! We had a great time and felt that an hour was the perfect amount of time to throw.
